Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Foldz ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms apply to all versions of Foldz on the Apple App Store.
The App
Foldz is a personal budgeting tool that uses the envelope method. It is designed to help you track and manage your personal spending. It is not a financial services product, a bank, or a regulated financial tool. Foldz does not connect to any bank, credit card, or financial institution. All data is entered manually by you.
Foldz is not a substitute for professional financial advice. Always consult a qualified financial advisor for significant financial decisions.
Licence
Sparkbyt Digital grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Foldz on any iPhone or Apple device that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App or any part of it.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
- Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
- Remove or obscure any proprietary notices, branding, or attribution.
- Redistribute or resell the App or any component of it.
Apple App Store Terms
Your use of Foldz is subject to Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA). Apple is not a party to these Terms and bears no responsibility for Foldz or its content. Any claims relating to Foldz are governed by these Terms, not Apple's.
Foldz Premium Subscriptions
Foldz Premium is an optional paid subscription available through Apple's in-app purchase system. Subscription options include weekly, monthly, and yearly plans. All prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID account settings at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Premium features until then.
- Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple according to their refund policies. We cannot process refunds directly.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Price changes will be communicated in advance through the App Store.
Free Tier Commitment
The free tier of Foldz — including unlimited envelopes, monthly budget periods, and income tracking — is available at no cost and will remain available. We will not remove or degrade the free tier to compel upgrades.
Your Data
All budget data you create in Foldz — envelopes, income records, transactions — is stored locally on your device. We have no access to this data. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, iOS updates, or any other cause.

Disclaimer of Warranties
Foldz is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from bugs or data inaccuracies.
Budget calculations in Foldz are performed on your device based on data you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you input. We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on information shown in the App.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sparkbyt Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or financial harm.
Our total liability to you for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for Foldz Premium in the twelve months immediately preceding the claim.
Intellectual Property
Foldz, including its design, code, name, icon, and all associated content, is owned by Sparkbyt Digital or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what is expressly stated here.
Updates and Changes
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Foldz after an update constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue Foldz or any feature of it at any time. If the App is discontinued, any active Premium subscriptions will continue until the end of the paid period, after which no further charges will be made.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
