Who We Are
Foldz is an iOS app developed and published by Sparkbyt Digital, an independent app studio based in Singapore. This Privacy Policy applies to the Foldz app for iPhone and any related pages on sparkbytdigital.com that pertain to Foldz.
What We Collect
Nothing. Foldz collects no personal data, no usage data, and no device data of any kind. Specifically:
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers.
- We do not access, connect to, or collect data from your bank accounts, credit cards, or any financial institutions.
- We do not track or collect your location.
- We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, or IDFA.
- We do not use any analytics tools, crash reporting services, or performance monitoring SDKs.
- We do not use advertising networks or track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not use any third-party SDKs that collect data on our behalf.
Where Your Data Lives
All data you enter in Foldz — your income records, envelopes, spending categories, and transactions — is stored exclusively on your iPhone using iOS local storage (UserDefaults). This data is never transmitted to any server, never uploaded to the cloud by Foldz, and never shared with us or any third party.
If you have iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder backup enabled on your device, iOS may include your Foldz data as part of that local device backup. This is controlled entirely by Apple and iOS, not by us. We have no access to your backups.
Subscriptions and Payments
Foldz Premium is available as an optional subscription (weekly, monthly, or yearly) purchased through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, card details, or Apple ID credentials at any point.
Subscription management, including cancellation, is done through your Apple ID account settings. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Third-Party Services
Foldz has no integrations with any third-party services. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Sentry, Amplitude, Facebook SDK, or any equivalent tool. The app makes no network requests except when Apple's StoreKit framework communicates with the App Store to process in-app purchases — which is handled by Apple, not us.
Children's Privacy
Foldz is not directed at children under 13. Since we collect no data from anyone, we believe the app is safe for all ages, but parental guidance is encouraged for younger users.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's behaviour changes in a way that affects privacy. If we ever were to collect any data (which is not currently planned), we would update this policy and notify users in-app before doing so. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last changed.
